What is VPS ? How is it different than my existing hosting plan ?

What is the costing for VPS setup ?
Answer : Generally a VPS server costs us around Rs 45000 per year and if we add the technicians cost, and management cost, it costs us more than Rs 100000 per year. One can buy their own VPS setup from the hosting company if the cost justifies their demand. From compliance angel it is important for some intermediaries like Stock brokers to have their own VPS.
However we at FinnSys is going to share the rental of this VPS among a minimum of 4 (four) users and maximum of 6 (six ) users, without compromising on the speed issue. So going by simple maths , a VPS should cost approx. Rs 2000 per month if we go by 4 user partition.Please check the special price offering by FinnSys (approx. How to order for VPS Setup ?
Answer : Get your problematic cases tested by our Support Team before going for the migration. Once you approve the test result for your satisfaction, then you need to ask for the INVOICE for this VPS ( in addition to your normal billing subscription). Our team will buy the VPS after your payment , and then give you the date for migration. It will take around 48 hours for one server migration.
What if I wish to change back to normal Hosting plan ?
Answer : Your normal hosting plan will continue to work as it is. We will only move the SQL data base under this new VPS. So once you say no to the VPS plan, your subscription will run as usual. However you should pay for the minimum of one year for this VPS before leaving the plan.
What about my existing FTP ? Will I get a new FTP for uploading of my files and control over my database ?
Answer : Your existing FTP will remain as it is and you will have same control over the files etc as you have in current plan. For new VPS, you will not get any FTP control because we will be hosting the SQL data of 4 (four) users, under wall partitions. As data privacy and safety measures we cannot share the FTP of VPS with any of the users. Moreover, all folder within VPS will be encrypted and will be not accessible to anyone.
